• What are the benefits of Membership?

Members of the Leakey Foundation are entitled to receive a one-year subscription to AnthroQuest, the Foundation newsletter, and mailings about lectures and symposia throughout the year. Members at the $100.00 level and higher also receive six bi-monthly issues of the journal Evolutionary Anthropology. Should you opt for a higher category of Membership, the benefits increase. Your membership dollars go to funding ambitious research into human origins and behavior. Find out more about membership and its benefits.

• How long is my Membership?

Memberships are for one year. The Foundation will send notification to you when it is time to renew your membership.

• What types of projects does the Leakey Foundation support?

The Leakey Foundation was formed to further research into human origins. Recent priorities include research into the environments, archeology, and human paleontology of the Miocene, Pliocene, and Pleistocene; into the behavior, morphology, and ecology of the great apes and other primate species; and into the behavioral ecology of contemporary hunter-gatherers. Other areas of study are rarely considered.
